Barista Job Description Position: Barista Location: Central Market, Pasar Seni, Kuala Lumpur Salary: RM1,600 per month ( Probation Rate ONLY) Benefits: • 2 day off per week • 1 annual leave (AL) per month • More benefit after confirmed Job Summary: We are looking for a passionate and friendly barista to join our team at our coffee shop located in Central Market, Pasar Seni. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Coffee Preparation: • Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages according to company recipes and standards. • Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment efficiently. 2. Customer Service: • Provide a warm and welcoming experience to all customers. • Take orders accurately and ensure prompt service. • Handle customer inquiries and feedback professionally. 3. Shop Operations: • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and dining area. • Restock inventory, including coffee beans, milk, and supplies. • Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a clean and hygienic workspace. 4. Cash Handling: • Process payments using the POS system. • Handle cash, cards, and digital transactions responsibly. 5. Team Collaboration: • Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure smooth operations. • Assist in training new baristas when required. Requirements: • Previous experience as a barista is an advantage but not required (training will be provided). • Passion for coffee and willingness to learn about coffee preparation techniques. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure. • Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays. Working Hours: • Full-time position with shifts scheduled according to shop operating hours. • 1 day off per week and 1 annual leave day per month.
