Looking for a warm, patient, and engaging personal assistant to spend time with an intelligent, English-speaking senior.

This booking is a paid one-hour trial at RM20/hour. Good matches may be offered regular three or four hour sessions, 3 times a week and long-term regular work.

They are healthy, physically fit, mobile, and independent. Following a stroke, they have poor short-term memory and may repeat questions or forget recent conversations.

The role is mainly companionship and enjoyable activities, such as:

• Friendly conversation

• Cards, puzzles, reading, or music

• Walks in a park or a visit to a nearby café

• Suggesting simple, interesting activities

No nursing, personal care, lifting, feeding, or medication assistance is required.

You should be friendly, dependable, comfortable taking initiative, and patient when conversations are repeated.
