The Kitchen Helper maintains a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen environment while assisting chefs and cooks with basic food preparation. This is an essential, fast-paced role that ensures the line cooks have the ingredients and clean tools they need to execute service without delays.

Key Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Washing, peeling, chopping, and weighing ingredients (vegetables, meats, herbs) according to chef instructions.

• Kitchen Sanitation: Washing dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans, and ensuring they are stored correctly.

• Deep Cleaning: Sweeping, mopping floors, wiping down work surfaces, and sanitizing prep stations throughout the shift.

• Waste Management: Emptying trash cans, recycling bins, and compost containers safely and hygienically.

• Inventory Support: Assisting with unloading delivery trucks, checking stock against invoices, and organizing the walk-in chiller and dry storage.
