Job Purpose:

To assist with general laboratory cleaning, housekeeping, organising, and gotong-royong activities to maintain a clean, safe, tidy, and well-organised laboratory environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assist with general cleaning of laboratory floors, workbenches, shelves, windows, furniture, and common areas.

2. Clean and wipe laboratory items, furniture, cabinets, storage racks, and other designated surfaces.

3. Help organise and tidy laboratory furniture, equipment, storage areas, and workspaces.

4. Assist in sorting, packing, moving, and rearranging laboratory supplies, materials, and non-sensitive items under supervision.

5. Assist in collecting and removing unwanted materials, empty boxes, and general non-hazardous waste.

6. Perform dusting, wiping, sweeping, mopping, and other general housekeeping tasks in designated laboratory areas.

7. Support laboratory gotong-royong activities and carry out other cleaning and organising tasks as instructed by laboratory personnel.
