What you'll be doing:

• Loading and unloading decor items, props, and equipment from our vehicle to the event venue and back
• Setting up backdrops, parasol arches, jhulas, metal panel structures, and marigold hangings
• Hanging fabrics, drapes, and festive decorations neatly and securely
• Assembling small and large decor stands and structures on-site
• Carefully packing and unpacking items before and after events, making sure nothing gets damaged
• Dismantling all decor at the end of the event and repacking for transport
• Doing a final check to make sure all items are accounted for before leaving the venue
• Handling delicate items like fairy lights, fabric, and floral pieces with care
• Following the setup plan or reference photos provided for each event
• Communicating with the team lead on-site about any issues, missing items, or delays
• Basic troubleshooting on-site, like adjusting a wobbly stand or re-tying a loose hanging
• Keeping the venue and work area clean and tidy during and after setup
• Being comfortable working at heights occasionally (using ladders for hangings or drapery)
• Flexibility to travel to different venues across the Klang Valley

What we're looking for:

• Physically fit and comfortable with lifting, standing, and manual work for extended periods
• Punctual and reliable — events run on a tight schedule and we need people we can count on to show up on time, every time
• Detail-oriented, especially when it comes to handling decor pieces without damaging them
• A team player who can also take initiative when needed
• Available on weekends and evenings, since most events happen outside regular office hours
• Prior experience in event setup, decor, or a similar physical role is a plus, but not required — we're happy to train the right person
• Own transport preferred, since venues vary across locations

Good to have:

• Basic tools knowledge (using zip ties, hooks, drills, etc.)
• An eye for aesthetics and neatness in how things are arranged
