We are looking for 4 reliable, careful and physically fit part-time helpers to assist with moving laboratory and office items at Universiti Malaya.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Move herbarium collections, laboratory equipment (microscope), laboratory items, desktop computers, documents, files, boxes and other office items from the first floor to the ground floor (staircase only; no lift).
2. Carefully carry and transport fragile or bulky items to designated locations.
3. Assist with organising, arranging and placing items at the new location.
4. Work together as a team to safely handle heavier or larger items.
5. Follow instructions from the person in charge.

Job Requirements:

• 4 helpers required.
• Physically fit and capable of carrying moderately heavy or bulky items.
• Careful and responsible, especially when handling fragile scientific equipment and valuable herbarium collections.
• Punctual, cooperative and able to work as a team.
• Previous moving experience is an advantage.

Important Notes:

• No lift available; items must be carried down the staircase.
• Some items are fragile and require extra care.
• No technical dismantling or installation of scientific equipment is required.
