Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Social Media and E-commerce Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our social media accounts, updating our online store platform, handling packing and posting duties for online orders, and assisting with pre-event preparations from the office. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of social media platforms, e-commerce operations, and excellent multitasking skills to ensure the seamless functioning of our online presence and order fulfillment process. Responsibilities: 1. Social Media Management: - Develop and implement effective social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engage with the target audience. - Create, curate, and schedule engaging content across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) to maintain a consistent online presence. - Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly and professionally. - Analyze social media metrics and insights to identify trends, optimize content, and improve overall performance. 2. E-commerce Platform Updates: - Update and maintain product listings, descriptions, and prices on our online store platform (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce) to ensure accurate and up-to-date information. - Manage inventory levels and coordinate with the team to replenish stock when necessary. - Monitor online sales and assist with order processing to ensure timely and accurate shipments. 3. Packing and Shipping: - Organize and prepare packages for shipping, ensuring that all items are securely packed and labeled correctly. - Collaborate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery. - Manage and maintain shipping supplies to ensure an adequate inventory. 4. Pre-Event Preparation: - Provide support in planning and organizing pre-event activities from the office, such as preparing event materials, promotional items, and logistical arrangements. - Assist in coordinating event-related tasks to ensure everything is in place before the event date. 5. Administrative Support: - Perform general administrative tasks as needed, including data entry, maintaining records, and handling office supplies inventory. - Assist other team members and management in ad-hoc tasks and projects. Requirements: - Proven experience in social media management and e-commerce operations. - Familiarity with various social media platforms and their best practices. - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with excellent attention to detail. - Proficient computer skills, including experience with online store platforms and basic office software. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in Malay & English. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work. - Prior experience in event preparation or coordination is a plus.
