Job Description
**Job Title:** **Administrative Assistant (Event Merchandise Sourcing & Research)** **Job Responsibilities:** • **Vendor Research & Sourcing:** • Conduct thorough research to source high-quality merchandise and event supplies. • Identify and liaise with potential vendors to request quotations and samples. • Evaluate vendor proposals and negotiate pricing and timelines. • **Administrative Support:** • Organize and manage vendor databases and contracts. • Track order statuses and ensure timely delivery of materials. • Prepare and maintain detailed reports and documentation for purchases. • **Communication & Coordination:** • Make follow-up calls and send emails to vendors to confirm orders and specifications. • Coordinate with internal teams to understand event requirements and merchandise needs. • Assist in scheduling meetings, calls, and appointments related to procurement. **Requirements:** • Organizational and multitasking skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or google docs • Ability to conduct online research effectively and analyze options. • Experience in event planning or merchandise sourcing is a plus. • Positive attitude and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
