The Role

GoGet is looking for a passionate Business Development Intern to join our Business Development team. The central goals of the Business Development function are:

  1. To grow GoGet’s business and revenue streams through account acquisition and account management.

  2. To strengthen GoGet’s positioning in the industry as an on demand workforce solution.

This role will entail growing GoGet’s portfolio of customer accounts, understanding the competitive landscape in the market to ensure the company’s longevity. You will work closely with the Business Development Manager and Associates to achieve the above goals. The right candidate should be energetic, a team player, eager to learn and have an unruly desire to innovate.

Let's break that down

  1. To assist the Business Development team in targeting new market growth opportunities and maintaining relationships with existing customers.

    1. Support Business Development team with inbound Sales enquiries across different customer groups and channels.

    2. Create communication via GoGet’s communication channels such as Mailchimp, Zendesk, internal app communication tools and basic artwork via Canva.

    3. Support in account management of existing accounts where required.

  2. To analyse GoGet’s market landscape and identify revenue potentials and competitors.

    1. Assist Business Development team in structuring, conceptualising and bringing to life revenue-generating projects.

    2. Manage Competitive Analysis on GoGet’s Business landscape.

    3. Support Business Development Associates in monthly report preparation to be shared with the larger team.

    4. Assist in preparing information and research materials by creating and maintaining PowerPoint presentations.

Who will you work with?

We work as a team, and your role is to be a great team player with Business Development Associates, Business Development Manager and any other teams that may be required.


    Must be enrolled in an accredited university/college program undergoing undergraduate studies in Business Studies / Marketing / Management Mass Communications or equivalent.

    Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and G-Suite services such as Google Sheets, Word Docs.

    Must be comfortable with numbers and learning analytical skills.

    Must be 18 years of age and above.

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Our office is located at Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. However, due to current circumstances, we are working remotely.


Please ensure that you have a fully functioning laptop for this position. The laptop must be able to have multiple browser tabs open at the same time and not have regular reliability issues.
