GoGet is looking for an energetic person as our Associate to be part of our Business Development team in Malaysia first, and ASEAN long term. The central goal of the Business Development function is three folds:
To grow the business revenue and scale demand generation for the overall marketplace
To develop products and commercialise products that achieve the company’s vision and mission
To build relationships and partnerships that supports our growth
Our aim is to create the best environment for our users to scale their operations with part timers and for part timers to find jobs in a trusted and safe solution.
This role is on the front lines of the business growth, you will be strategizing and developing initiatives that will scale the company’s revenue. You will be exposed to account acquisitions, activation, retention, partnerships and other areas to provide a holistic experience. You must be a digital native, ideally with experience working in a technology-enabled business. This role will ask for your point‐of‐view, recommendation, and optimization recommendations while also being a key touch-point to stakeholders across other teams in the organization and external stakeholders for day to day management and support.

You must have a natural desire to problem solve with a data driven mindset. It is through this desire, that you will be able to drive for efficiency, effectiveness and impact within GoGet. This role will entail being a company ambassador, analysing data and critically thinking through issues, brainstorming on out of the box solutions, and creating partnerships that will scale acquisition of new accounts. You will be working with various tools for growth, for example: CRM, internal products. The role will require strong people-skills and a growth mindset as you will grow and scale the business with new ideas.

Support Head of Business Development in driving revenue generating projects and campaigns
Execute initiatives, SOPs, best practices and documentation of business processes
Drive new and strategic partnerships to grow user base of Businesses utilising GoGet’s platform for on-demand help
Perform data analysis and measure initiatives results
Well versed in all products and services in order to contribute effectively
Break down and drive critical analysis to propose new revenue opportunities or product improvements to sharpen GoGet’s Business offering
Drive relationship building via meetings, presentations and communications with external stakeholders
Manage relationships of key partners independently and customers to ensure successful set up and onboarding for GoGet’s Enterprise solution
Supporting post set up enquiries and build relationships to ensure continuity of business on the GoGet platform
Assisting Head of Business Development in managing day to day Sales agent team
Ad-hoc artwork and communication creation to drive usage of GoGet’s platform or awareness of current promotions
Reporting on key metrics on weekly/monthly basis
Provide feedback and iterate training materials, processes of projects with key accounts
Oversee and monitor key account projects to ensure project success (e.g. sign up rate of GoGetter and acceptance rate of jobs and quality of job done)
Who will you work with?
We work as a team, and your role is to be a great team player with Head of Business development, Sales, Marketing and any other teams that may be required. We have in-house developers to support customised product changes, in-house community builders, product team to make your ideas become a reality. You will be gaining relevant skills for the future because of your learnings and understanding of growing revenue in a company.
Degree in Business / Finance/ Mass Communication or other related Business fields
Proficient computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), G-Suite services such as GSheets, Word Docs, Google Forms and Canva
Candidates with 1-2 years or more of Business Development / Sales experience preferably in the start up environment are preferred. Fresh graduates with relevant skills are welcome to apply
Basic knowledge of SQL and JSON is welcome

Our office is located at Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. However, being fully remote work is also an option, do talk to us about it if this is your preference.
